TeeBooked › Guides › Does TeeBooked take a slot?
No. Every booking TeeBooked makes is one member booking one slot they were entitled to, and were going to try to book anyway, on their own account. The tee sheet holds the same number of members either way. The only thing that changes is that being free at your keyboard at 7pm is no longer the entry fee for a Saturday game.
A release night is a queue of members for a fixed number of slots. Whether you book by hand, or your playing partner books for the four of you, or an assistant does it on your instruction, the queue contains the same members wanting the same golf. TeeBooked adds no demand that was not already there and removes no supply. One member, one slot, one game that would have been sought regardless.
There are real abuses in this space and they deserve naming: booking multiple times to keep options open, block-booking beyond your group, running several accounts, or taking slots to sell on. Every one of those removes golf from other members, every one is banned in our Terms of Service, and accounts that try get closed. TeeBooked books the single slot matching the game you set, and nothing else.
The honest version of this worry is not about slots, it is about speed: is it fair that a service is quicker at the release moment than a member refreshing by hand? Consider who wins the by-hand contest today: the member with a free evening, the retired early-riser, the WhatsApp group with a designated fast finger. The release moment already rewards availability rather than keenness to play. TeeBooked gives the working member the same seat at that moment their retired clubmate already enjoys. Same queue, same rules, same one slot each.
TeeBooked is a tee-time booking assistant for golf club members. One membership, one account, your own games only. From $19 a month with a money-back guarantee: get your game, or the month is free.
Set up your gameNo. TeeBooked books the single slot that matches the game you set and takes nothing else. It does not hold options, does not block times it might want later, and does not book more than your group needs. Block booking and resale are banned in our terms.
The current release-moment contest already favours whoever is free at that minute, which is its own unfairness. TeeBooked attends the same release everyone attends, for one member, with no extra accounts and no extra slots. It changes who can compete, not how many slots exist.
