TeeBooked › Guides › Club login safety
Only if the service can answer four questions well: how is it encrypted, who can access it and is that access logged, can you delete it instantly, and is it ever shared. Any provider that cannot answer all four crisply has not earned your password. Here is how TeeBooked answers them, in the open, so you can hold anyone else to the same bar.
1. How is it stored? Encrypted at rest in a managed vault (envelope encryption). Your password never sits in a readable database column, a spreadsheet, an email or a chat, anywhere in our systems.
2. Who can access it, and is that logged? It is decrypted only at the moment a booking is made for you, and every single access is written to an append-only audit log: which credential, when, and why. Auditable after the fact, always.
3. Can I delete it? Yes, at any time, by request while subscribed, and always within 7 days of cancellation unless you ask us to keep it for a future resubscription. This is a commitment in our Privacy Policy, not a support favour.
4. Is it ever shared? Never. Not with third parties, not with advertisers, not between customers. It is used for one purpose: booking the games you set, on your account, on your instruction.
Members' tee sheets sit behind your club login, and a booking made on your account is the only booking that counts as yours. There is no side door, and you should distrust any service that claims one. What you are really deciding is whether the provider's custody of that password is more careful than the average member's browser autofill. That bar is why we publish exactly how ours works.
TeeBooked is a tee-time booking assistant for golf club members. Encrypted credential custody, every access logged, deletable any time. From $19 a month with a money-back guarantee: get your game, or the month is free.
Set up your gameBecause members' tee sheets sit behind your club login, and a booking made on your account is the only booking that counts as yours. TeeBooked uses your login solely to book the games you set, nothing else.
It is never stored in readable form and is decrypted only at the moment a booking is made for you. Every decryption is written to an append-only access log, so any use of your credential is auditable after the fact.
It is deleted within 7 days of cancellation, sooner on request, unless you ask us to keep it for a future resubscription. You can also delete it at any time while subscribed by emailing us.
Good hygiene with any service: use a password for your club account that you use nowhere else, and rotate it if you stop using the service. A unique password means that even in the worst case for any provider, only your tee sheet is exposed, never your email or bank.
